CHAARG Membership Contract, Terms, + Conditions
Mission
We are CHAARG + we’re on a mission to show college girls everywhere that owning your fitness is owning your life. We are liberating girls from the elliptical + proving that fitness can [+ should!] be fun. We are leading the movement that is igniting a passion in women to live a happy + healthy lifestyle.
Core Values
We are passionate about empowering college women everywhere. 2 out of 3 college women said that they feel uncomfortable using the weight room… CHAARG is here to change that. Our mission is to empower women to “find their fit” + find an empowering community. [Passion]
We believe that fitness should be FUN. Gone are the days of boring workouts. We move in ways that feel good for our body + we have a blast doing it in community. CHAARG combines great friends + fun workouts to help every member feel their best. [Joy]
We are more than a team – we are a family. We are a family of different shapes, sizes, colors, identities, + backgrounds with the common goal of becoming our best selves + believing in the CHAARG mission. Our family has zero tolerance for hate + discrimination. Anyone who identifies with our mission is welcome to be part of our community! [Family]
We believe in finding balance. While we love fitness, we know that living a healthy life is so much more than the physical aspect. Mental health matters! We prioritize finding balance in our life, taking care of our mental health, + making time for ourselves every day. We ask for help when we need it + communicate what’s going on to those around us for support. [Balance]
We love our community. We are committed to the CHAARG movement + sharing what it means to be a part of this community to others. We know that this community is so much bigger than one campus, + we support other CHAARG members from across the country! We see how impactful CHAARG is on campuses, + we want to spread the word to everyone who doesn’t have a CHAARG Chapter at their university – so that they can be #inCHAARG, too! ⚡️[Community]
Membership Fee
Chapter members are required to pay a membership fee that encompasses both a National dues fee + Chapter dues fee. The National dues fee is $32/quarter or $49/semester, + Chapter exec teams choose the amount they'd like their Chapter dues fee to be in addition to the National dues fee. Chapter memberships are available beginning June 1 for the fall semester/quarter, November 11 for the spring semester/winter quarter, + March 1 for the spring quarter. No refunds will be granted as the customer agrees to in our terms + conditions during checkout. Memberships shall be terminated by the failure to pay dues, if a member breaks any of our CHAARG policies, procedures, or core values, or if a member breaks any student conduct policies at their university while at or affiliated with a CHAARG event.
Membership Eligibility
Chapter memberships are open to university students as set forth in guidelines by that university. You must attend that university as either an undergraduate student or graduate student in order to be a member of that CHAARG Chapter. CHAARG does not categorically deny membership to an individual based on race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, sexual orientation, veteran’s status, or the presence of a disability.
Statement of Liability
CHAARG, the CHAARG Chapter, or any CHAARG members will not under any circumstances be liable for exemplary damages resulting from participation in CHAARG activities, due to any cause, even if CHAARG has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In any event, CHAARG’s total liability to you for all the damages [whether based on contract, torte, or other theories] will be limited to the amount you actually paid for participation in CHAARG activities. Some states + jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation may not apply to you. With purchasing a CHAARG membership, you are agreeing to the CHAARG Accident Waiver and Release of Liability.
Non-Solicitation Covenant
During your CHAARG membership, you will not directly or indirectly solicit business from, or attempt to sell, license, or provide the same or similar products//services as are now provided to any member of CHAARG. This includes but is not limited to: promoting coupon codes, discounts, + other commission-based services for personal monetary gain.
I have read, understand, + agree to the terms and conditions listed above + will behave in a manner consistent to the mission + core values of this organization. Failure to comply with the terms + conditions listed above will result in termination of your membership.
